AdBlue In Diesel

In Ealing we are finding increasingly more examples of AdBlue contamination whereby an individual has poured AdBlue inside their diesel fuel tank. This is mostly as a result of drivers not being totally sure the right way to to make use of (be aware: it's not a fuel additive), and partially simply because the inlets for diesel and AdBlue are normally right near to one another on the car.

Well, what is the matter with having AdBlue in a diesel car? Seeing as AdBlue is mostly deionised water, it is actually like putting water in your tank. Diesel and water really do not mix in the slightest and trying to run a diesel car on water isn't going to work. In addition to this, the urea is quite corrosive to the fuel system pipes and seals and is at risk of crystallisation, obstructing injectors and filters.

Any time you find yourself in this position do not panic! Call us, the UK?s Best fuel contamination service. Our experts have got the technical competence and working experience to get you back on your way quickly and efficiently, without mess or fuss.

Water contaminated fuel, whether it's unleaded petrol or diesel, can be an important issue to address in a motor vehicle - particularly in modern common-rail engines. Water in diesel or petrol can easily produce idling issues, lumpy running, excessive smoke and, if it is not dealt with correctly, oftentimes damaged injectors. Water in petrol is a lot easier to remove compared to water in diesel - mostly because diesel is an oil. Having said that we are able to handle both cases very expediently.

Be aware that any time the vehicle was run with the water contaminated fuel it will probably need a new fuel filter to be installed since the previous one will undoubtedly be completely water-logged and useless.
